Education, Innovation, & Connnections

Our current and prospective clients know what they know, but they don’t always know what is coming next. Learning the latest technology, implementing new business processes, developing new competencies, or just trying something different, we stand ready to assist our clients and to learn and grow with them.  We can provide custom training and overview events. And for anything that we can’t do now, we’ll help connect our clients with someone who can.

Legislative Compliance

We pay attention to developments that affect our clients on the legislative front as well as the executive front.  Whether it involves new laws being considered by the General Assembly or departmental regulations and decisions, we are here to advise and represent our clients to influence and adapt to whatever the governmental processes may be.

Litigation

Our attorneys are capable commercial litigators with successful track records in federal and state trial and appellate courts, before both regulatory agencies and arbitral tribunals.  We actively participate in and support alternative dispute resolution procedures including mediation, arbitration, and Disputes Review Board as well as Neutral models. We also counsel clients on how to help avoid and mitigate litigation risks as prevention methods.

Industry Representation

We represent Contractors, Subcontractors, Suppliers, Owners, Designers, and Insurers in every phase of the construction project, including business development, contract drafting and negotiation, project administration, claims, collections, close-outs, delays, and defects. We also represent clients with administrative issues including licensure matters and OSHA citations.

Licensing Board Advising

Safran Law Offices represents clients with their professional licensing issues and defends complaints with the North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors, State Board of Examiners of Plumbing, Heating, and Fire Sprinkler Contractors, and State Board of Examiners of Electrical Contractors.

Business Formations & Transitions

From formation to dissolution, our attorneys understand the complex legal needs that differ from business to business.  We are prepared to assist our clients with business administration and governance no matter how they are organized, or what field of business they engage.
